Don't bother stopping. We pulled in here on an exceptionally windy day about 1 week ago and were greeted by a grumpy, rude and all out un welcoming lady behind the bar. Large group of us keen for a few beers and meal but after being asked to sit outside in the dust storm with our first beer we kept on driving. Note to the owner, if you employee people like this behind the bar your pub is going to fade into nothing.

Spent a great night at Kingoonya.. Nice little outback town. John the Publican very friendly and full of info about the area and generally great to have a yarn with. Warm, cosy fire outside. Good company all round and the food was 10/10. What a Gem.!! One of the best highlights of our trip.Pete and Jo

This place is fab, needs more people to stop in and support a great little country pub. The staff are awesome and locals a friendly too, great to have a chat with. Food was fantastic. Worth the drive in off the highway if you have time.
