Description

Mount Sunderland Lookout accessible from main road turn off. 4wd access only. High clearance low range in dry weather only. Stunning drive, around 6km, through dry river beds and some washouts, with the last 500m very steep climb, loose rocks. You wont get up this in any standard Prado or Dmax. The 360 degree views from the top being on n our opinion the best in the Flinders Rangers. You can see over many valleys all the way from Wilpena Pound to Blinmam. Lots of Roos at the top and great opportunity for sunrise/sunset. We created this way point on 10/4/25 after 3 days in the Flinders Rangers exploring.
