Description

The Wirrabara Institute built 1912 War Memorial, A white marble memorial, comprising a statue of a soldier standing at 'Rest on Arms Reversed', left hand over right, the rifle muzzle on the left boot, surmounted on a capped pedestal in the form of a cenotaph. Library, a bronze plaque is affixed to the left of the main entrance; a bronze and a marble plaque are affixed to the right of the main entrance. Five stained glass windows incorporating a Cross of Sacrifice are set to the right of the main entrance. A bronze plaque is set in the base of each window.
