Wild Dog Hill dominates the park landscape at 90 metres high. The hill is formed from red and purple sandstone and is part of the Pandurra formation, with an age of between 1.6 and 1 billion years.
Wild Dog Hill plays a significant role in the traditions of several Aboriginal groups. The site is part of stories that teach the importance of providing constant care for
babies and obeying instructions.
