Old Whaling Station

Site of the former Fishery Bay Whaling Station at Fishery Bay on the coast of Sleaford Bay, which is listed in the South Australian Heritage Register. It operated in the 1830s and 1840s and helped to provide the colony with one of its first export commodities.
Park with care, not suitable for large rigs, limited turning area, unstable cliff edges.
Council advise this is a day use area - any overnight says are not authorised. There is a no camping sign.
