Located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Albert which is part of the Murray River's Lower Lakes, Lake Albert Caravan Park offers a picturesque setting with lawn, shade, beautiful views and sunsets. A pleasant 90 minute (150km) drive south east from Adelaide, or 3 hours from Mount Gambier, the park offers a beautiful bush setting with stunning lake views, sunsets and bird-life. Nature at its best! We are a pet friendly caravan park on our powered and unpowered sites, however pets must be on leash at all times and under owner supervision. Sorry no pets allowed in park accommodation. No dangerous or unruley pets permitted. Sorry no fires permitted from 1st November to 1st May regardless of fire ban season, management reserves rights to revoke privileges if see rules abused. A bucket of water must be present at all times when fire is lit and extinguished before left unattended. Fires only allowed in communal fire pits (4 in total) or lake front sites 1-19 with own raised fire bucket at allocated spots. Office monitored 9am to 5pm. Online bookings open generally till 5:30pm for sites only. Please pre-book to avoid disappointment, there is also an outside checkin kiosk that allows bookings when office unattended until 9:30pm.
