Description

Chalk's Campground is set among beautiful redgums, named after one of Mount Crawford's first foresters. Campsites are to be booked in advance via Forrestry SA's website. Camping permited from 1 April - 30 November. There are 35 designated, unpowered camping sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes. Facilities include hybrid toilet system with disability access, fire pits, picnic tables, shelter and rainwater (not suitable for drinking). Wood fires permitted from 1 May - 31 October. Dogs are permitted, provided they are kept on a leash at all times. Please be aware of fox baiting programs operating in the area.
