Description

Camping: The showgrounds are open to caravans, motorhomes and all types of camping with a maximum of 4 night stay. Sites are powered/unpowered. Toilets/showers, drinking water, coin operated washing machine, rubbish bins. Pet friendly (maximum 2 per site) & on leads/tethered at all times. Rates: Powered Sites $30.00 per night for 2 people per site (maximum 4) Unpowered Sites $20.00 per night for 2 people , per site (maximum 4) Extra people per site $5 per night Arrival times: Check in is 11am to 5pm (seasonal) Take the William St entry gates into the Showgrounds. Check in with the Caretaker at the gate who will complete all payments and direct you to your site. CLOSURE DATES: Christmas period Monday 22 Dec 25 to Sunday 4Jan 26 Allora Heritage Weekend Frday 23rd January to Sunday 25th January 2026 Allora Show week Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th February, 2026 Darling Downs Heavy Horse Festival Friday 14th to Sunday 15th March, 2026 PLEASE NOTE: There is no Dump Point available at the showgrounds, however there is a Southern Downs Regional Council Dump Point located at the APEX PARK very close to the Allora Showground. Water Restrictions There is also no bulk water supply available at the showgrounds. Filling of water tanks or jerry cans for use in caravans, motorhomes, vans, SUVs or 4WDs is strictly prohibited at the Allora Showgrounds. Bulk water can be purchased from Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) owned Water filling stations at these nearby locations: – Allora fill station, Forest Plain Rd (1 minute from the showgrounds) – Warwick fill station, Wallace St (near the Guide Hut) – Stanthorpe fill station, Mackenzie St (near the Council Depot) – Killarney fill station, Mountain View Rd
