Description

The Palmetum is a 17 hectare Botanic Garden & is one of the most diverse public collections in the world. Allow at least an hour to really appreciate this garden. This is one of 3 gardens in Townsville that are part of 'Townsville Botanical Gardens'. The others are Queens Gardens & Anderson Gardens. It is dog friendly. Open to the public between sunrise and sunset. Gates will be closed at other times. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
