Description

Roadside rest area either side of the Bruce Highway north of Rollingstone. Each rest area features a bitumen pullout with a covered picnic table and rubbish bin. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. General and recreational vehicles can stop at a rest area for up to 20 hours unless signed otherwise, but they are not camping sites or an accommodation option. It is important motorists use rest areas designated for the type of vehicle they are driving. The southbound rest area has a slightly raised concrete pad, which is a (free) weighing facility.
