Set amongst nice forest and lovely rock pools but this was overshadowed by poorly maintained campgrounds with an inadequate number of toilet and shower facilities that were infrequently maintained (smelly, dirty, toilet paper littered and unstocked). There are a number of activities to occupy the family - many of these however are quite expensive. Some campsites can be noisy if nearby a creek water pump that ran constantly. Camp fires available at each site was nice.

Most expensive campground in Aus. $68 per nite for 2 people in caravan. Very small uneven sites and all dirt. One giant rip off.

Massive park nestled in a valley of Tamborine Mountain. Rates depend on size of site, camp kitchen and amenities cleaned daily. Washing machine and dryer only $3.50 per cycle. Only downside was the steep incline either side of the mountain to get to the park, not suitable for older vans, as well as the roads inside the park and camp sites are all dirt with lots of rocks and big ditches. Quite on weekdays, busy on weekends. Only a 35 minute drive to the theme parks and close to a cute main shopping strip in tambourine mountain.
