Description
A breath of fresh air in the tropical far North. A short drive from picturesque Port Douglas , Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation, access to Cape York and adjacent to the richest bird life area in Australia.
We have a selection of powered and unpowered sites available in our beautiful tree filled park at the top of the range just outside Port Douglas and Mossman. You can count on the tablelands for a few degrees relief from the coastal towns as we are 500 metres above sea level. Surrounded by the Mowbray Forrest and farmland, close to shop, fuel facilities and the beautiful Highlander Tavern just a short drive away.

We are staying here as everything further south was full. It is a great park, a touch rustic but has what you need. Lots of room and very little cramming. So glad we made the choice. The road to Port Douglas is windy but only a 10 -15 minutes trip. We have been able to enjoy our stay and explore all the sights. Booked 2 nights but staying 4.

What a hidden gem! In tropical paradise with everything you need to relax and unwind. Facilities are clean and well maintained. And to top it off the caretakers are absolute legends! Booked 2 nights and stayed 4 but could've easily stayed more!!

Stayed July25 3 nights. Having reviewed all 28 stops on our trip we voted this the least enjoyable site. This was due to toilets being very shabby and the 1 and only sink that drained slowly. Tap head fell off. Pool was not clean. Toilets need knocking down and new replacements immediately. TV signal dodgy, phone even worst. The price should reflect the lack of quality. Next to road gave sleepless nights with cane haul trucks 24/7. Vowed to never plan a stop here again. Shame as the site is on a beautifull drive route from Mossman to Mt Molloy. Our location in the park was very tight requiring skill to avoid damaging the van against the 2.5m pruned hedge and wheel damage against the 150mm high slab on the other side.
