We stayed at the Big4 in Port Douglas for a week before heading to the Daintree. This was SO much better imo. We have kids and to have access to the safe lifeguarded pools was wonderful. The pools are "free" when you stay. A huge playground is only a block or so away under those gorgeous raintrees. It is excellent to be walking distance to everything in town including the Saturday markets. We had a spacious site that looked right onto the clear creek. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed here because we had problems with our van and had to wait for parts. What a ovely 8 Days! A shady, spacious, cool, camp site overlooking the rainforest, and creek. We would never have stayed otherwise, but really enjoyed it. Clean, cheap, friendly. Very highly recommended.

Great tidy caravan park. Clean amenities. The maintenance person works really hard and it shows. The front desk staff were very pleasant. Short walk into town. We enjoyed the complimentary access into the 50m pool. It had been a few years since we had swam any laps! We would love to come back one day
