Whats an average family of suburban battlers to do for a holiday with rates like this? If the park is Council run then it's a discriminatory outrage favoring the well-to-do. Not in the Aussie spirit and community health.

Stayed a couple of nights at this place. Very clean and tidy amenities, friendly and helpfull staff. Very secure with gate codes, easy access to beach. Supermarket very close as are plenty of restaurants. As for noise that some have mentioned, I did not find it disturbing. Yes it,s not cheap, but if you like beIng rights next to a patrolled beach with all the city comforts, its worth it.

Very expensive. No pool or extras. Amenities are new, the location is what we really valued, being able to walk easily to the beach and local cafes etc. This is why we paid $65 a night for 3 nights. Site was smallish, no shade and right on a very noisy road often with drunken pedestrians walking past through the night. Motorbikes seem so much louder at night. I understand the need for security in a park like this, but all the codes were pretty cumbersomb - even to get out of the park, the boom gate had a code, not just a sensor. Other campers were the FRIENDLIEST we have ever encountered! Everyone helped us when we had a disaster with our van and all adored our 1 year old - more so after the 1st night and he proved he was a good quiet sleeper. Wish there was a family bathroom.
