Description

The Malanda Caravan Park is uniquely located in the Cairns Highlands right next to the beautiful Malanda Falls Environmental Park. The falls flow all year round and its brook meanders through our rainforest providing a home to many turtles and platypus and other aquatic species. Our virgin Rainforest is alive with birdlife and animals and is one of the few places that the rare Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo calls home. The rainforest provides our whole park with natural air-conditioning. It's beauty will astound you. It does not matter wether you choose to camp in a tent or camper trailer, park your caravan or motorhome, or stay in one of our self contained villas or units, you'll be able to enjoy a wilderness and rainforest experience that only the Cairns Highlands and Atherton Tablelands can offer. *** TAWK DISCOUNT *** 2 nights Free camping for the kids. Malanda Falls Caravan Park

User 2303593, i think there may be a little more to this story. None of our staff recall a situation where someone was over charged. Please contact us directly on 4096 5314 if you have a grievance. Wiki camps can not resolve your issues unfortunately. Our sites by the road can be noisy during certain times of the day, there are plenty of spots to escape that though. One of our selling points is that you can hear the rushing water of our natural waterfall, it's a beautiful sound, our guests regularly comment on how peaceful it is here. Please feel free to contact us if you have a genuine concern as we are always here to help.

The park is very spacious, and some sites are near bush and you have some privacy. The road noise cannot be escaped anywhere you choose. The manager wasn't particularly helpful when we were overcharged. Wifi is not readily available. Would choose somewhere else if we visit again.

We loved this place. Big areas, spacious sites, very quiet, you don't even feel the other campers. They have farm animals and chooks wandering around, which can eat your veggie scraps. The access to the falls is a treat. Lovely nature place. It would be great to have a kitchen.
