Forgot to add, we do not have a unpowered site only policy for one night visits, if you are happy to pay the difference a powered site is fine for one night ( not during school holidays or long weekends to high occupancy rates) I am sorry there was a misunderstanding regarding this however I believe this may have been a simple case of crossed wires :-)

Hi Hartbird, sorry the Bush Bar not being open was an inconvenience. However as the licencees we were not on premises and as such the Bar cannot be opened. Our son did not realise we would be away until late and was unaware that the Bar would be closed. 99% of the time we never get to be away from the park for social activities but our friends 40th was to special to miss. The Bush Bar was open on the Friday night just not Saturday and the park was extremely quiet due to the wet weather. I am sure you would have enjoyed our delicious meals here too but we hope you may experience them on a future visit :-)

Really conflicted about this place, I was excited to camp here. On booking we were told we could only have a non powered site as we we're staying only for one night. Expecting the place to full of people was surprised to find near empty. We could have a powered site and it would not have inconvenienced anyone else. So we move on, on checking in it was confirmed that we could grab dinner as per advertised and a couple of beers. Head up around 5, Bar is locked up, other campers looking around as well. No one to be seen. I get that somethings come down to the number of people but if it's not going to happen you need to communicate to the paying guests. Anyway if you are staying here and want a great feed head back into town to the pub. They have a great menu and always are open 6-8pm.
