Julatten Tablelands Van Park

Caravan Park

A breath of fresh air in the tropical far North. A short drive from picturesque Port Douglas , Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation, access to Cape York and adjacent to the richest bird life area in Australia. We have a selection of powered and unpowered sites available in our beautiful tree filled park at the top of the range just outside Port Douglas and Mossman. You can count on the tablelands for a few degrees relief from the coastal towns as we are 500 metres above sea level. Surrounded by the Mowbray Forrest and farmland, close to shop, fuel facilities and the beautiful Highlander Tavern just a short drive away.

Afraid we have to agree with last 2 posts Don't think the amenities were cleaned once in the 8 nights we were there Great price for the area But, yes noisy but it is what it is Seems more like a permanent park than for travelers Also, we love dogs, but owners dogs wander freely making pests of themselves at times

Agree with previous review, don't know how this place gets close to 4 stars. Extremely untidy, below average amenities, iffy internet, no dump point, road noise. Overnighter at the very best.

Owner seemed nice however I would not call this a caravan park. Looks like a large shared yard IMO. Main reception area /private home absolutely disgraceful. Don't know how this place would stack up with current covid regulations. Would not come back.
