Beachfront Powered and Unpowered Camp Sites 'Where the Rainforest meets the Reef' Cape Tribulation, QLD. Cape Trib Camping has a range of beachfront camping & cabin options ideal for families, couples and groups. We can accomodate all styles of camping with sites suitable for large caravans, campertrailer, tents, hammocks and motorhomes. The campground is a great place to start your Cape York Adventure, located within minutes to the beginning of the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown. Explore the Great Barrier Reef which is located only a short boat ride from the campground or loose yourself amongst the beauty of the worlds oldest tropical rainforest. All guests are welcome to roast marshmallows and enjoy socializing by the centrally located campground fire pit. Guests can also build their own fires on the beach. Individual fires at the campsites are permitted in fire pits Check in time is after 11 for campers and 2pm for cabins . Check out time is 10am. Please call us to arrange arrivals that are after dark. Cape Trib Camping has five amenity blocks available for guests. Features include hot showers, toilets and laundry facilities - coin operated washing machines and dryers. The amenity blocks are situated throughout the campground.There are power points in the amenity blocks for electric shavers and hair dryers. The campground runs on a eco toilet system so please be mindful of what you flush. There is Optus& Telstra phone coverage and wifi at the park NOTE: The site pin is on entrance turn-off (as navigation will be wrong otherwise). Campground is on the beachfront, 400m along the side road.
