Drove here today for a quick look around. No sooner had we got in the front entrance and we were immediately abused by the caretaker for ignoring the 'No Visitors, No Vacancy' sign at the front entrance before we even had a chance to ask if they had any spaces for us. Had a quick drive through under strict instructions not to get out of our vehicle (why would we if you don't want us here?). The park has many permanents and not one of those we saw returned a courteous wave. Must be something in the rainwater making everyone so uptight. The park itself is in a beautiful spot, such a shame the sentiment from all involved is to bugger off don't bother staying here. What a shame for the local businesses who could have benefited from our custom. Drove up to Poona and had a great stay there.

Staying here for a week, what a view! Caretaker is OK. No rain for ages and he is careful with water. Showers only 5 minutes but that is fine. Only small dogs. The sign says no vacancies but he has some available, just ring before you arrive.

Open but limited due low water tanks as not on town water, so watering down available water with bore water. Ring caretaker Ray (be prepared to be questioned on water use) Ray mentioned installing solar for park in future Very clean ammenities, a coat of fresh paint & taking unwanted stuff at entrance reception to the tip would help look. Grounds are good with waterfront sites $35 or other sites $30 (2 people). $10 extra persons. Small animals allowed. No private washing machines to be used. Plenty of birdlife, able to fish from waterfront beach, very quiet & peaceful. We didn't hook up water just power & used ammenities, no laundry. Overcast so we didn't use air con. Telstra reception good, TV not so good but maybe due to cloud cover. Park not as bad as other reviews make it sound
