Me n Him

We came here for an overnighter and stayed 5 nights. Absolutely loved it here. Unlike others I thought it was reasonably priced. We are only a small set up so packed up each day to go out and came back in the afternoon. 4 of the 5 nights we had a beach front site. So nice looking at the calm waters from our bed. The facilities are fine if you're not too fussy. Washing machines $5 a load using gold coins. Showers tepid but enough in this warm weather. More toilers and showers which are hot are available in green amenities block just outside camp ground in the park. Crocs were sited on the shore a couple of the afternoons so beware - although the locals were out there diving from a boat. Once again, loved it here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Favourite spot on the trip so far - stayed 6 nights with on an unpowered spot on the beachfront. Get there early to snag a beach spot as it really makes the experience. Powered sites are all back from the beach. Bring toilet paper to use late in the evening if it runs out. Amenities are basic but clean and water is hot. Pool was great to refresh in during the day. Amazing to watch the tides come in and out over the rocks. 5 minutes to drive to Bamaga. We paid $41 per night for 2A 2C.

Nice shady camp spots, no booking, no specific unpowered sites, just pay and camp anywhere. The pool is good, nice and refreshing for kids and adults. None of us (family of 5) had to wait for toilets or showers even though the camp was busy for the two nights we were here. Amenities were clean. Supermarket very close, great beach to walk along and sunsets were amazing. $46 for unpowered a night here was a bit rich though, especially when we paid the same for a powered beach front site at Seisia. Saturday night loud music played ALL night! The bins were over flowing and all toilets were out of toilet paper by morning. Comparing this to the other 3 places we stayed at the tip, this was our least favourite
