Didn't stay here because it was full after BRB, but we did stay at the sporting complex across from the school, not sure if it was only open because of BRB

Nice grassy spot, ample room for overnight stay considering peak time prior to BRB at Birdsville. Toilets at rear of hotel. Great free camp spot

Had a great stay behind the pub - only downside was the grey water smell. Lovely town, has a great nature drive towards Coopers creek & a sculpture park - enquire at the information centre - the lady there was very informative. Also a great red sand dunes area just out of town to watch the sunset - with a glass of bubbles 🥂🥂
