Description

Bush camping at Noccundra Waterhole, a large waterhole within the Wilson River near the Noccundra Hotel. This camping area is a common use area covered by a grazing lease. You are not permitted to access via any road other than the designated access road. You can traverse around 2 kilometers distance along the waterhole to many good camping spots. Avoid driving on landholder access tracks. There are no facilities in the camping area, however there is a public shower and toilet block adjacent to the Noccundra Hotel available for a donation that goes to the Royal Flying Doctors Service. . If you intend to camp, please register at the hotel. Fires are permitted with care, however it is not permitted to collect or cut firewood in this area. Pets are permitted.
