5 stars for the time John took out of his time to spend with us. It was raining and he helped make us comfortable after a long drive, he lit up a fire and offered coffee, was very friendly, a great host, beautiful views and a great atmosphere would return

Arrived Easter Saturday to disarray. The owner had to many campers, not enough spots. I can imagine he was stressed but his greeting to us (3 x campervans, mentioned on the phone FYI) went like this 'There is to be no loud music'. Rude, thanks for the warm welcome mate. We just wanted a nice getaway for the night not a party. We were at the end of a long line of shamozels. After waiting half an hour he tried to put us up the top paddock which we couldn't get the 2WD vans up and that was clear from the start. We ended up in the horse paddock on a slope in long grass. I get it was busy but don't charge us $60/night for 3 people + $15 firewood when we don't even get a proper camp & had our time wasted. Take note don't come here if it's holidays

Awesome venue, rustic with many different areas to choose from with more than enough space for you to enjoy. Very central to Gympie and the Noosa trail tracks around Cooran and Pomona. John is a great host, friendly and easy going with no hassles or dramas. A must try. Clive
