Mackay Regional Council operates the St Helens camping reserve located in some of the region's most picturesque settings. Powered sites are not available. Pre bookings are not available for the St Helens reserve. Facilities include: Covered picnic tables, Barbecues, Fireplaces and wood provided, Toilets - (wheelchair accessible), Water, Hot showers (coin operated, 20ct for 4min) and Rubbish bins provided. No pets. Fires prohibited 7 days free camping in a 21 day period.
