South Currigee Campground offers six Wallaby Tents that sleep 4 people, 1 tent that sleeps 2 people and one self-contained cabin that sleeps 4-6 people. 28 camp sites are also available that can each accommodate 1-2 average sized tents. South Currigee campground offers campers access to BBQs as well as a children's play area. Toilets and hot showers are available, and the campground office has a mini kiosk for all your camping needs. Camping accommodation is limited to tents only. Since access to the island is exclusively by boat, vehicles or caravans are unfortunately not permitted. It is essential to book your camping site before you get to the island. It is essential that you receive an official City of Gold Coast receipt from the Campground Manager in return for cash payments. Credit card payments are accepted by phone on (07) 5577 3932. Please help us to protect the wildlife found naturally in this pristine area by not bringing your dogs or generators onto the island. Dogs are prohibited within the Conservation Park (managed by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services) and all three of the campgrounds managed by the City of Gold Coast.
