Description

Bookings are essential to ensure availability. Check in must be before 6pm. Ring early afternoon if there's going to be a problem. The park is located on the spectacular Cooloola Coast, which stretches from Noosa to Double Island Point up to Fraser Island. It is a great destination with a wilderness feel. Beachfront Caravan Park - Noosa North Shore is a great destination for families, retirees and fishermen, being close to Noosa but with a wilderness feel, it's a popular location for activities like camping, fishing, bush and beach walking, or surfing and visiting the Coloured Sands. Please note the beach is not patrolled. Located on a stretch of the spectacular Cooloola Coast which stretches from Noosa to Double Island Point up to Fraser Island. Access to the beach by 4WD vehicles is located less than 1km north of the park entrance. The Park is quite large and has been recently renovated before opening again in Jan 2020. There are powered sites, suitable for caravans, which can be booked. Camping is not permitted on the beach or foreshore in the Noosa Region. The park is mostly in its natural state and there are no streetlights at the park, so we suggest you bring a torch. As fauna (kangaroos, goannas and birds), along with the natural flora call the park and adjoining reserve home, they are protected and animals/pets are not permitted in the reserve or in the park. There are definitely no ground fires, generators, or Webers allowed in the park or on the beach - cooking is only allowed on gas appliances. Fires allowed only in braziers within the park. There are cooking facilities provided at the park including a new big camp kitchen. Toilet and shower amenities are provided onsite as well as laundry facilities. Water connections are not provided as this stage.
