Description

Rugged and remote bush camping opportunities are available within this scenic island national park. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Book prior to arrival. Milligan Bay Camping Area offers bush camping with beach access and is located on the eastern side of Hinchinbrook Island, south of Mulligan Bay. The camping area can be reached by boat. Access is weather-dependent and a good knowledge of the waters and hazards is essential. The camping are is an open area without separately defined sites. It is suitable for tents. There are no facilities. Fires, generators and pets are prohibited. Mobile phone coverage is generally available.
