1) Nice spot for camping. This campsite is predominantly set up for school camps and so on, in-fact there were kids from a school leaving when we arrived. Consequently there are a number of boarding accomidation style lodges you can hire, and there are a number of communal facilities such as showers, toilets and so on. For camping, there is some unpowered and powere camping down by the lake, but the difficulty is there is not much level ground at all, and you are not allowed to camp within about 30m of the shoreline.

2) Consequently decent spots to set up are few and far between. The facilities are a bit of a trek from the lakefront campsites, but if you are self contained this is not an issue. There is also camping up by the facilities, nearer all the cabins, but again, flat ground is limited. It's a beautiful spot, the managers are lovely, and I would definately recommend the place for a weekend.

Great spot, we scored the huge level slab with water views. Very peaceful. Scott (the caretaker) was very friendly & most helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We didn't need the amenities but they looked very clean. Short drive to Boonah for excellent shops and a free dump point at the showgrounds cvan park. Will definitely be back here.
