Drove in from the north in a 4WD. Let tyres down (20psi) deep sand and sandy ruts. Wouldn't attempt it in a 2WD. Lovely campsite, quiet.

We drove our stock Nissan Patrol Y62 in and an MDC XTHR16 Island Van. Wild ride from the North, made it though! You'd probably need to be rather comfortable behind the wheel to have a crack. Nice camping area, if you're relying on solar power over a weekend, the tree canopy is high and thick!

Road from the south currently has <10cm of water over the last floodway and is easily accessible. The road from the north (as well as the 3km stretch between the campgrounds requires high clearance but is well packed sand accessible by any 4WD. 1-2 bars of Telstra reception throughout most of the campsite. A quick walk down to a beach beautiful beach. A lovely, peaceful spot.
