Description

Camping permits are required and fees apply. Obtain permit prior to arrival. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Middle Creek camping area is located in the Eurimbula National Park, near the banks of Middle Creek, a short walk to the creek and fishing areas. It is possible to launch small boats from this camping area. The camping area can be reached by high clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles or boat. Road access is suitable for off-road camper trailers and boat trailers only. Roads are not suitable for caravans, low clearance four-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive vehicles. The camp area is an open area with no separately defined sites. All sites are unpowered. Facilities include composting toilets and fire rings. Fuel stoves are recommended. Campfires are permitted in fire rings provided, except when fire prohibitions or fire bans are in place, but please bring your own clean-milled firewood. Collection of firewood and the use of chainsaws are prohibited. Generators are llowed between 8am-9pm; must have a sound rating of less than 65 decibels (2.0Kva). Mobile phone coverage is generally not available, but some reception may be available at the nearby headland. No pets.
