Description

Shady sites for fully self contained, small and large vans and campers. No overcrowding as we only book a maximum of five sites per night on 2.5 acres. No toilet facilities. No power. Firewood provided. Water is available to use and fill tanks and grey water can be run onto the ground. You are welcome to use a generator if need be between the hours of 10am and 7pm. We only ask that you please be respectful of others at all times. As Norman our big boy is no longer with us well behaved dogs are welcome. There's plenty of space for them to run. We ask that owners pick up after their furry companions though. Happy to care for your canine friend while you explore, just enquire when we meet. We provide a safe, secure and peaceful location. A natural setting and bird watchers paradise A great spot to use as a base while you explore the Whitsunday region. 300m to beach and 1km to main swimming beach with views to the Whitsunday Islands. A short drive to Bredls Wild Park and Dittmans Bullpit. Close to local tavern and fish n chip shop, both of which have great takeaway or dine in meals. Be sure to book a table at the tavern though. 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway from Bloomsbury heading north or 10 mins from the O'Connell River heading south. Through connection road back to highway in both directions, no need to back track. $20 per night per site/vehicle. We often throw in a free night here and there.
