Amazing spot on the water edge with fire pits provided. It says the road is unsuitable for caravans (south from Cairns via little mulgrave and danbulla) - narrow roads, some dirt with potholes and corrugation but our offroad van had no issues. Road is very windy.

What an amazing spot right on the waters edge. The breeze is a welcoming change from the heat of Townsville. For $27 for 2 adults for 2 nights is a bargain. Toilet facilities, and good access for our RAM and 20 ft van.

Great campground with clean loo and fabulous views. Marsh flies were a little brutal as has had some rain but would definitely return. No undercover picnic tables but we used the ones at the day use area not far away, which were also really well maintained.
