These are e-permit camping areas-all camping must be booked in advance; self-registration is not available. Camping is only permitted in the camping area/numbered camp site(s) you have booked. Henrietta Creek camping area is located in the Palmerston (Doongan), Wooroonooran National Park, just off the Palmerston Highway, 38km from Innisfail. It is a grassy camping area next to Henrietta Creek, surrounded by rainforest. There are 11 unpowered, numbered sites, suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and caravans. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle. Facilities include composting toilets, picnic tables, gas barbecues, and taps. Open fires: not allowed-fuel stoves are recommended. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED. Pets are not permitted. Mobile phone coverage is not available.
