Description

This paid campground offers toilets. Dogs are not permitted. Camping in tents is allowed. You must book in advance. Not suitable for trailers. Tents only although sites near car parks maybe suitable to camp from your car. Sites 1&2 are booked through parks but do not form part of the 'fernflat' campground. They are intended for support vehicles. From NP website: Camping area features: camp beside Broken River, where you may be able to spot a platypus. Location: 400m from Broken River picnic area, which is about 5km from Eungella township. Access: can be reached by conventional vehicles, 400m along the gravel road beside the Broken River Visitor Kiosk. Number of sites: 8 sites. Maximum 4 people per site. Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping, a short walk from your vehicle. Not suitable for camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. Camp site surface: grass and dirt. Facilities: hybrid toilet in camping area. Nearby day-use area has toilet facilities, kiosk, information centre, picnic tables and gas barbecues. All water must be treated before human consumption. Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended. Bring your own clean milled timber. Generators: not allowed. Essentials to bring: all food and drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags, insect repellent, sun protection, first-aid kit and reliable torch. Read more about before you visit.
