Description

CURRENTLY OPEN. Cool, clean & green! could be the best description of our 60 acre property in beautiful Julatten. If you enjoy peace & quiet, (although the birds can be noisy!) inquisitive cows, and hungry horses but space to enjoy. We offer a very limited choice of campsites along side our two dams for fully self-contained travelers. Apart from a water point, we offer no other facilities, (the water is straight from our bore and isn't treated in any way). Your pet is welcome, but as we have cattle and horses , must be restrained or contained at all times. These sites are not fenced off from the stock, so please take this as fair warning that entry is at your own risk. We strongly encourage that you reserve via Hipcamp, as this site offers peace of mind. You're most welcome to have a fire but please use a fire pit. Access, through the gate for the larger rigs is very tight, if in doubt, check it out. But a 30 foot bus with a 20 foot trailer isn't going to get through!. Nearest dump point is at Rifle Creek rest area over at Mt Molloy. Mossman is 25 minutes drive with a large Woolworths, Port Douglas 35 minutes and a decent Coles supermarket. Mareeba 45 minutes with a larger variety of shopping available. Lastly, for some reason that we cannot fathom or fix , we've had trouble with Google Maps, please don't rely on it as it will send you down a no through road where you won't be able to turn around.

What a spot! Massive sites right on a large dam. The friendliest animals and great location close to Mossman and Port Douglas. Very private :) The best place we have stayed on two months of travel. Thank you

Had two nights here and had the best time. It's my absolute favourite. Loved the animals and the very friendly horses. Might be an idea to bring extra carrots and apples for them. Alfie, the border collie is just gorgeous too. Highly recommended
