Description

Clifton Recreation Reserve features two football fields (one with lights), a horse racing track, an indoor multi-court complex suitable for basketball and netball, and a polo/polocrosse field. It's home to the Wattles Football Club with an onsite clubhouse, featuring a canteen, and two dressing rooms with toilets and showers. The popular caravan stop serves as the Clifton Showgrounds and it's where the Clifton Jockey Club host their annual race meeting. Gates are CLOSED 5 to 8am and 10 to noon for track training so egress of campers is unavailable during those times. A designated dog off-leash area is also provided on the Reserve. (Refer to the shaded section in the map) Self registration and payment on site. Powered and unpowered sites are available and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and big rigs. Facilities include water, toilets, showers, picnic tables and dump point. Pets are permitted.
