Clean flushing toilets. No showers. Tank water but not portable. Heaps of space, but only a few level camp sites. Ground is sloped. Nicely shaded by trees. Dogs loved it (on a lead) Fire pits available. BYO firewood. No water in Emu creek (Feb 2022) Gravel road in was bumpy. No phone service at all. Drive 15km to Blackbutt for service.

Just took our 16ft caravan down to stay the night, but decided to leave. Campground looks nice, but creek is not running and not suitable for swimming. (Not sure about emu ck campground as we have a dog.) Access track in gets progressively worse as you drive, and is quite steep in parts. If there is any rain, access out would be doubtful. We needed to use low range 4wd to get back out (in dry weather). Definitely not accessible for 2wd cars at the moment.

A mowed area of lawn with a toilet. 4he creek was flowing when I was here. Nice out of phone range camp, I got a little bit of Telstra on occasion. Don't trust back roads on Google maps taking you on Water Gully Rd (I think). I ended up at a 4wd only crossing at Emu Creek after 45 mins. It was a long detour! I had a little paddle on my kayak in the creek. But it's full of trees and obviously doesn't flow much usually so not much joy.
