6 Pack Cruisin

Great campsite in the middle of the rainforest, such a contrast from camping on the beach but appreciated it. Plenty of room for camper trailers and large vehicle. Peaceful

Right in the heart of the rain forest, this campground is dark, damp and cool in comparison to the beach camps. The sites are mostly flat with different layouts to suit tents, camper trailers etc. The showers take only $2 coins (the money box is outside the cubicle so make sure you feed the right one!) and loos are ok.We we're there in dull weather and found it a bit oppressive but I think it would be lovely in very sunny weather.

After 12 days on the Island we stayed at Central for our last night, and it was well worth it. Definitely worth a stay to get away from the coast and off the sand. Amenities were alright, cold showers were free and $2/3minute showers when the lights are on. But they just needed a bit of a clean the campsites were large, flat and were all really beautiful. Awesome locations for Lake McKenzie and Birrabeen. Highly recommend!
