Captain Logan Camp
CampgroundDescription
Lake Wivenhoe is the largest lake in South East Queensland and provides more than half of the region's drinking water. Captain Logan Camp is located on the waterfront of Lake Wivenhoe.
There are 57 unpowered sites of which 6 are suitable for caravans. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, rubbish bins, picnic tables, electric bbq's and boat ramp. The campsite has access to the water for swimming, kayacking and boating.
All drive-on sites need to collect their grey water. If any part of vehicle is used for camping, a camper trailer site must be used. Camp sites are approx 7m wide and 10m long. Sites 31, 36 and 37 can take up to 17' caravans. Sites 41, 43 and 44 are suitable for camper trailers only. Sites 42-57 get morning sun and have deep water for boats.
Campfires must be contained in an enclosed drum, brazier or similar and must only be placed at designated fire pit locations. Under no circumstances are fires permitted on the ground or outside designated locations. Fire wood must be brought in with you, or you can purchase from the reception office. Do not cut down trees or remove branches for personal use. Please take all rubbish with you, including campfire ashes
Glamping is also available.
