This Paid Campground offers a park next door where people go to fossick for Gold. Pets are allowed. It is accessible to motorbikes, RV's, caravans and big rigs. Camping is allowed. Wonderful Hip Camp right next to Deep Creek, a great place for gold fossicking. Sprawling field with plenty of lush green space. You can have a fire here but may need to bring your own firewood. Owned by a lovely very friendly couple who have their house next to the field. Incredibly welcoming and kind. It was Anzac Day and nothing was open so Rodney kindly let us help ourselves to his firewood. There is no power or toilets here so it helps if you are self contained. 3 minute drive away is a pub, bottle shop and groceries so not far if you need to stock up on anything. Just $20 for per night so it's a great little stop over if you are travelling through Gympie
