Description

Located opposite the now closed hotel, this free campground has full grass area and plenty of shade. There are also toilets and gold coin showers nearby. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans with camping in tents also allowed. There's drinking water available at a tank behind the hall, other water via taps in camp area. The 48hr rule is not enforced unless folk are being a nuisance. The notice board near the toilets has info on what's available in town. The locals run fortnightly social nights at hall with lic bar n BBQ, everyone welcome and it's cheap. Go up to Loudoun House Museum for tourist info and if you need anything during your stay, they can help point you in right direction. There's a little op shop that's open Fri Sat Sun. Brian's Shed is a must do, he goes home for lunch so come back if he's not there. Irvinebank cemetery is beautiful with lots of history. Once a year, Irvinebank has a festival, it's great value family fun.
