Description

Ball Bay offers secluded camping on a small grassy campground. The facilities include toilets, cold beach showers, push button start barbecues, electricity for cooking only, and drinking water. Sites are suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes. Mackay Regional Council operates the Ball Bay camping reserve. Powered sites are not available. Pre bookings are not available for the Ball Bay reserve. Camping attendants will visit daily to collect fees. Pets are not allowed. Ball Bay offers easy and close access to Cape Hillsborough National Park bushwalking tracks. In the early hours of the summer months it is possible to see Flatback turtles hatching.
