Overnight camping is limited to this site. Misuse of the area has resulted in damage to the coastal ecosystem, and all other former camping areas are temporarily closed while rehabilitation is undertaken.

A must visit if visiting cooktown or Cape York. Beautiful white sandy beaches filled with reefs, coconut trees and fishing. We camped in a spot right by the beach and squeezed our 21ft 1974 viscount in there. It was exposed to the elements but well worth it. Chucked up some photos. We will be doing a YouTube on this place soon. So please feel free to follow us on YouTube,Instagram and TiKtok Edit 1 - Caught a few fish. Coral trout off the rocks and another in the boat when the wind went away. Also a nice golden trevally. Also we were kindly told that we were in a no camping spot so we moved to the proper camp sight over the hill.
