Description

At Daintree Crocodylus you'll see, touch, and hear the Daintree rainforest less than a metre from your room and that's guaranteed! Want to get a real rainforest experience, not after manicured grass and air conditioners, then Daintree Crocodylus is your answer. Secluded in the depths of some of the last remaining lowland rainforest in the Daintree and Cape Tribulation our accommodation guarantees you get up close and personal with the jungle and its inhabitants! The Daintree Dorms are perfect for backpackers or those travelling alone, share the rainforest experience in one of our multi-share dorm rooms. Each of the rooms have a maximum of four beds (2 bunks) and open out onto their very own rainforest veranda. Toilet and shower facilities are available in the shared amenities block just metres away. NOTE DORMS DO NOT HAVE MOSQUITO NETS. We'll keep you well fed and watered at Daintree Crocodylus too! Check out our famous Cafe Crocs, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday with loads of budget minded, fresh and tasty tropical fare or prepare your own in our fully equipped self catering kitchen. Thirsty, then quench your thirst at our fully licensed Crocs bar.

Loved our stay here. Really friendly and welcoming staff and very clean amenities. Got to see lots of animals and hear birdcalls in the mornings. Highly recommended.

We really appreciated this stay. Very unique atmosphere and perfect to take in all that the Daintree offers. Safari huts were as advertised and we enjoyed getting back to a basic vibe and just enjoying everything that nature had to offer. Thank you for your warm and friendly hospitality.

Stayed here last night and was welcomed by the nicest family we have met in our travels around Australia. Awesome food, they made special treats for our kids and accommodated their allergies into the menu. The room we stayed in was basic (en-suite and beds), it is tent style accommodation and what you then get is the amazing atmosphere. We really slept in the rainforest. Such a relaxed vibe and close to great Daintree tourism draw cards. Would definitely recommend
