Description

Experience the peace and quiet of the picturesque private beach frontage (voted as one of the Lonely Planet's top 100 beaches in the world), discover the abundance of plant and wildlife while exploring the 110-million-year old rainforest, have a drink at the bar, take a dip in the saltwater pool, or unwind with relaxing massage. Most nights conclude with a bonfire on the beach where stories are shared, marshmallows are toasted and guests become friends. Get to know fellow travellers in our budget rainforest dorms, or enjoy the privacy of a deluxe beachfront bungalow. You won't even notice that there is no TV and limited phone and internet coverage. The relaxing vibe and inviting natural environment will have you enjoying some time just 'being' - being with family and friends, being with the environment and being at one with yourself. We have a beachfront bar and bistro with a totally cool, chilled-out summer beach vibe. Our Bistro is famous in Cape Tribulation for it's fantastic affordable food and there is also a communal kitchen if you want to do it yourself! The rainforest pool is conveniently located right by the bar, only metres from the beach. The accommodation is all a/c, clean and comfy. The staff are relaxed and helpful and there is a tour desk offering many exciting local tours!

A lively retreat nestled right in the rainforest & right on the beach. Very comfy beds & a lovely pool to swim in. The walls to your neighbours r very thin, so u hear everything! All in all, a great place to stay.

Loved it. Lovely private cabins in a beautiful rainforest setting. Walk straight on to the beach from the restaurant/bar. Kids had a great time. So easy having the restaurant there too. Staff were all fantastic, friendly and so helpful. We would definitely stay again!!

Just had three wonderful days here , right on the beach in the middle of Cape Tribulation rain forest . Accommodation is basic but clean and everything you need. Restaurant is great , Kym who was managing the bar and restaurant during our stay is a real hoot ! Lovely person who makes you laugh . Kid friendly too. Nice swimming pool too
