Bird hide was worth the look

HalfWayRound
We didn't have time to do the walk but a quick stop and stroll out to the bird hide was really worth the effort. Heaps of birds and great iconic Kakadu view.

Definitely worth a visit. It's truly stunning. Just sit quietly and watch the edrigs catching fish, magpie geese and the endless 60 species of bird life. The wetlands is a very special place and different to others I've seen. It has been declared as international importance and rightly so. If you don't have time for the walk 150m to the lookout
