We Wouldnt Be Dead For Quids

This is well worth a drive to see. The first 40-odd km to the closed gate is reasonable outback road with the exception of a few km just out of Arltunga which is very rough. After the gate, it's the realm of high clearance "real 4wd" vehicles - rock crawling and soft sand for 2km to the start of the walk to Fox's Grave through the gorge. We only walked about half way as we weren't properly prepared with water to carry but it was beautiful. We ran 25psi on 18" 265/65 Nitto Ridge Grappler tyres on our Discovery 5 which was ideal. If you're here you must have a real 4wd, so go and check it out! You won't be sorry or if you are, go back to the city!

Around Mini Australia

Spectacular and peaceful. Shhh don't tell everyone about this place.

Therese & Chris

Beautiful gorge. Big day from Ross River Resort but well worth the effort.
