Well worth a stop. Darryl took us through the gallery, very informative and interesting learning the stories behind the artworks. Lovely shop, very well priced. Highly recommend.

Fuel is available there and there is also a small local store. They have a sugar free soft drink Day on Mondays as the locals are addicted to sugar loaded soft drinks. There are many very hungry looking poorly looked after dogs outside the store and in the community. Honestly, very sad to see. Also, be advised the locals don't like visitors in there community, in most you need a permit however they are welcome everywhere else. Double standards : (

The didn't know that there was a museum as well as an art gallery here. The gallery had some beautiful works, but there gallery is really worth the stop. Travis gave us a phenomenal tour of the significant art in the gallery, adding details from his own experiences too. We're very thankful for everyone's time and effort. It may looked closed from the outside, so just pop around the back to see if anything is happening during open hours. I highly recommend this as a stop either before heading east, or as a breather after the long corrugated roads heading back out of Arnhem Land. The road is sealed between here and the Sturt Highway too.
