Description
Soak up some stunning views and look out for iconic wildlife as you meander through towering sandstone pillars, small pockets of monsoonal rainforest the paperbark-lined bank of the East Alligator River on this 2.5km walk. A highlight is a cool, shady cave.
The walk starts at a small carpark 500 m from the upstream boat ramp.
Make sure to observe all croc safety signs. Never enter the water where crocodiles are present.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

Walk starts at the rotunda to the right of the carpark! (See Pic). Recommend downloading the map from the Parks Aus website as there's limited signage.

Nice walk, very easy and flat. Not much shade so take caution when it's hot. As mentioned previously, signpost number 3 had cool rock art to check out. The walk had sandstone stacks which were beautiful.

The art is amazing. Soft sand alone the track but okay. Don't be worry about crocks or buffalo not a chance.
