If you want a nice quiet spot to sit and eat your lunch with comfortable shady seat and a million $ view of Uluru and Kata Juta, this the spot. I think there is no other spot like it in the park where you can sit and chill with lunch or a cuppa. Obviously this excludes sunset of sunrise when it might be busy

Sunset was the highlight with all the orange tones changing but sunrise was definitely worth doing anyways. Try to get to the park at 5am when it opens as we did and it was already starting to get a little light when we arrived.

Wow. This is the spot! No one here but us and a stunning view of Uluu with Kata Tjuta in the background. What a wonderful place. Nice little loop track around to different viewing points. Would highly recommend.
